Originally designed in 1958 by Charles and Ray Eames, the aluminium group of chairs are true icons of 20th Century design.
Manufactured by Herman Miller, USA, this chair swivels, has tilt and manual height adjust with a 5 star aluminium frame on castors with navy leather upholstery.
This model is known as the EA435 soft pad management, the closest equivalent made by Vitra is the EA217 (the main difference being the EA217 has gas lift and a lever to lock the tilting mechanism.)
The chair is in good condition showing only light age consistent wear with some rubbing to the leather on the corners.
