Gordon Russell double helix sideboard

£1099

Designed in 1951 for the Festival of Britain by David Booth and Judith Ledeboer and manufactured by Gordon Russell.  A great example of classic British mid century design.

Made from mahogany with birch ply doors veneered with Bombay rosewood that have been machine cut to expose the white birch below.

The sideboard has been professionally cleaned and polished and presents really well (for complete accuracy. there was a scratch to one side that has been wax filled - this only catches the eye at certain angles and light.
