Originally launched in 1946 the DCW (dining chair wood) designed by Charles and Ray Eames is one of the true classics of 20th century design.
This chair is manufactured under license by Vitra and features moulded plywoods finished with a natural ash veneer.
The chair is in good condition with age consistent wear. There are some small areas of veneer loss around the feet and a couple of scratches to the seat that have penetrated the veneer. (see photos).
The chair retains it’s Vitra label dated 1999.
If bought from new this chair would cost in the region of £991.
We currently have 2 available, the 2nd chair is also in good condition with one area of damage to the veneer on the backrest, if interested please ask.
