6 model 611 dining chairs originally designed in 1929 by Alvar Aalto for Artek.

Fantastic, functional, practical stacking chair featuring a birch frame with natural linen webbing.

The chairs are approximately 10 years old, they are in good condition with minimal wear to the frames.  The linen webbing is generally good with some marks to the seat on some of the chairs (one of the photos shows by far the worst marking – this could possibly be cleaned or if deemed an issue replacement webbing can be bought from Artek, the webbing is simply stapled to the frame).

The chairs were bought in Australia and retain the retailers label - Anibou, an official Artek stockist and the very slight trace of the Artek ink stamp can be seen on one chair (again see photos).

If bought from new a set of 6 model 611 chairs would cost in the region of £3170.
