Superb vintage Barcelona chair and ottoman originally designed by Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe in 1929.

This vintage set dates from 1975.

The chair & ottoman are in superb original condition, it would be hard to imagine finding a vintage Barcelona chair and ottoman in better condition.

There are some signs of wear consistent with nearly 40 years of use.  The black leather has aged beautifully with no rips or tears just some very, very minor fading.  The frames are also very good with some light markings but nothing to detract.   Some of the straps particularly at the front have worn and show some colour loss (see photos), we have decided to leave these in original condition although the they could be inexpensively re coloured if desired.

Both the chair and the ottoman retain the Knoll paper label and the original fire safety label also marked Knoll International.

It is rare to see a vintage Barcelona chair and ottoman for sale and it is especially rare to find one in such stunning original condition.

A beautiful set and a great investment opportunity.
