6 vintage Ercol adult stacking chairs originally designed by Lucian Ercolani for Ercol in 1957.

A classic mid century British design featuring Elm seats on a solid Beech frame.

The chairs are in strong structural condition.  There is age consistent wear and markings throughout with more wear and marks present around the legs and bottoms of the frames.  On close inspection one chair has suffered damage to it’s feet probably done by an animal – please see last photo.  There are also some light scratches on most of the chairs.

We have decided to leave the chairs in their original condition although it would be relatively straightforward to strip and refinish if desired.

The stacking chair has recently been reissued by Ercol as part of it’s originals range and 6 stacking chairs if bought from new would cost in the region of £1700.
