Original Penguin Donkey 2 designed by Ernest Race for Isokon in 1963.
The bookcase / side table is in very good original condition.It is strong structurally and presents very well.
There is light age consistent wear, the white has 'yellowed' with age and there are a few minor knocks and marks (the worst of which are shown in the photos).The screws have also rusted.
A great example of an iconic mid century British design.
