Originally designed in 1958 by Charles and Ray Eames, the aluminium group of chairs are true icons of 20th Century design.
Manufactured by Herman Miller, USA, these chairs feature a swivel, fixed height, 4 star aluminium frame with green hopsack upholstery..
The chair is in acceptable original condition. The hopsack is generally good, it has a few light marks (none that would really show in a photograph) and it is free from rips or tears. The aluminium is scuffed and scratched in places and there are areas on the arms where the lacquer has worn as is usual with vintage Eames aluminium group chairs. All glides are present and the chair retains it's Herman Miller label.
