Originally designed in 1958 by Charles and Ray Eames, the aluminium group of chairs are true icons of 20th Century design.
Manufactured by Herman Miller, this chair features black leather upholstery on a 4 star aluminium frame with white glides and swivel facility.
The chair is in very good original, vintage condition. The leather is free from rips or tears and just shows usual age consistent wear (including some rubbing on the front corners - see photos). The aluminium has the odd scuff but is generally good.
The chair is embossed with the Herman Miller stamp to the frame and also has a date label on the underside of the seat reading 1984.
