One of the classics of Scandinavian mid century design.  The Lamino chair was originally designed by Yngve Ekstrom for  Swedese in 1956.

Featuring an elegant sculptured oak frame with a brown sheepskin cover.

The chair is in good original condition with Swedese mark to underside dated 2003. The oak frame is strong structurally and just shows light age consistent wear.  The sheepskin is also generally good showing usual wear, some slight fading and then one area on the seat where the sheepkin has worn a bit more (see photos).

The Lamino chair, if bought from new with a sheepskin cover would cost around £1646.

In 1999 the Lamino was voted the 'Twentieth Century's Best Swedish Furniture Design' by the Swedish interior magazine Sköna Hem.
