Originally designed in 1958 by Charles and Ray Eames, the aluminium group of chairs are true icons of 20th Century design.
Manufactured by ICF, Italy, this chair features black leather upholstery with a 5 star chromed frame on glides with swivel facility.
The chair is in excellent condition showing very little light wear, the chrome is excellent. The chair retains it's ICF label.
It is worth noting that the seat height on this chair is 45cm to the top of the cushion which is a bit lower than the regular height on recently manufactured Eames Vitra softpads. The seat height can be raised by replacing the glides with castors, we can recommend a dealer that stocks genuine Eames parts including castors that would fit ICF chairs).
ICF were one of the 4 original European manufacturers permitted to produce Eames chairs under license given by Herman Miller. ICF ceased production of Eames chairs in 2004.
