Stunning 20th century British design originally retailed by Heals and Harrods.
Rosewood and chrome nest of tables designed by Richard Young for British engineering company Merrow Associates c. 1970.
The tables are superbly crafted with great attention to detail. The two smaller tables have a book matched veneer so when alligned the grain continues it's pattern.
The rosewood on all 3 tables has a beautiful grain running throughout. The tables have been professionally refinished with several coats of a matt finish polyurethane spray lacquer . The chrome is very good with the odd very minor mark but is generally smooth with a good shine, there is one area of chrome loss on the inside leg of one of the smaller tables (see photo)
