Rare and collectable, no longer in production, mouth blown glass bird designed by Oiva Toikka for Iitala, Finland.

Black and white body with shades of metallic blue to beak and wings.  We have been unable to identify this bird as yet but it very closely resembles the magpies produced in 1990-94 and 2011-2013.  The bird has the Nuutajarvi label which I believe was stopped being used around 1995.

The bird is in very good condition throughout.

The Toikka signature and Nuutajarvi are etched to the base.
