The Bird chair was originally designed in 1952 by Harry Bertoia.

One of the most iconic mid century designs.

This chair features red hopsack upholstery with a white scratch / chip resistant Rilsan coated frame and black floor glides.

The chair is in excellent near mint condition.  It was bought approximately 3 years ago and used only as a statement piece and not often sat on.

It has the Knoll stamp on the frame (see last photograph)

The Bird chair with this configuration currently retails for around £2500.
