One of the classics of Scandinavian mid century design. The Lamino chair was originally designed by Yngve Ekstrom for Swedese in 1956.
Featuring an elegant sculptured wooden frame with brown leather upholstery.
The chair is in good vintage condition. The frame is strong structurally, it has some knock and marks and wear to the finish in places. The leather has some creasing to it but is generally very good.
The Lamino chair, if bought from new with a sheepskin cover would cost around £1646.
In 1999 the Lamino was voted the 'Twentieth Century's Best Swedish Furniture Design' by the Swedish interior magazine Sköna Hem.
