Originally designed in 1948, stunning yellow fibreglass shell with blue hopsack upholstery Eames designed DAX (Dining height armchair X base) for Herman Miller supported on a 4 leg X base finished in chrome.

The fibreglass is in great condition with loads of visible fibres.  The chrome is also good, it still has a strong gleam and only minor wear.  Blue hopsack is also in very good condition with no stains or rips however the foam has thinned.

The chair has all 4 glides present and herman miller mark under the seat.
