Originally designed by Ray and Charles Eames in 1969.

Superb black leather EA222 soft pad easy chair for Herman Miller with swivel and tilt on 4 star aluminium base with white nylon glides.

The chair is in good condition.  The leather is good, nicely aged with normal wear including some rubbing to all 4 corners (see photos) but no rips or tears.  The aluminium arms have some marks where the film coating has worn and the base has usual age consistent wear.

The chair retains it’s herman miller label to base.

A fantastic, super comfy chair, the daddy of all soft pads if bought from new it would cost in the region of £3570.
