Rosewood and chrome long coffee table designed by Richard Young for British engineering company Merrow Associates c.1970. Amazing craftsmanship and attention to detail with exceptional construction and top quality materials. Stunning 20th century British design originally retailed by Heals and Harrods. The table is in good condition, the rosewood has a lovely grain running throughout , the chrome is free from pitting and smooth with just the odd cosmetic rub, the glass has only the odd small scratch. There is one small area of damage to the veneer along one side and a patch of colour fading to the wood (see photos). On closer inspection the wood also has some minor scratches. A very nice example.
