Originally designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1958 for the Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. A moulded shell of synthetic material on an aluminium star swivel base, with a layer of cold foam covering the shell upholstered in a light purple kvadrat wollen fabric. No straight lines only curves, a truly stunning, timeless chair. The chair dates from 2001 and retains it's Fritz Hansen label on it's base. It is in very good condition with no visible marks when viewed from the front. There are faint marks to the rear on either side, they are really the only blemish, we have not attempted to clean these so are unsure whether they are removable or not.
