Originally launched in 1946 the DCW (dining chair wood) designed by Charles and Ray Eames is one of the true classics of 20th century design.

This chair is manufactured under license by Vitra and features moulded plywoods finished with a natural ash veneer.

The chair is in original condition with age consistent wear.  There are some scuffs around the feet and light scratches to the sea.  There are two futher deeper scratches that have penetrated the veneer. (one on the seat, one on the back - see photos).

The chair retains it’s Vitra label dated 1999.

If bought from new this chair would cost in the region of £991.
