Originally designed in 1958 by Charles and Ray Eames, the aluminium group of chairs are true icons of 20th Century design.
Manufactured by Herman Miller, USA this chair features dark brown leather upholstery on a 4 star aluminium fixed height, non swivel frame with white glides.
The chair is in good original condition. The leather has aged beautifully and is in very good condition free from stains or rips.
The protective lacquer on the arms has worn and deteriorated in places as is usual with vintage Herman Miller chairs. We have decided to keep the arms in their original condition but they could be replaced by vintage machine repolished Herman Miller arms for around £80, if interested please ask.
All glides are present and the chair retains it's Herman Miller label to it's underside.
