Superb Heart dining set designed by Danish master Hans Wegner for Fritz Hansen in 1953.

This set was bought in the 1950s and is offered in fantastic original condition.

The 3 legged table, made from solid beech with a laminated teak top, presents beautifully with minimal wear.  It was always used with a tablecloth placed on top of a padded cover.  There is one tiny nick to the surface (see photo).

The 6 matching chairs, teak seats on solid beech frames, are also really good.  There are some scuffs around the bottoms of some of the legs and the odd mark to the seat but nothing to seriously detract.  They show light wear consistent with 60 years of use.  The only real damage evident is to backrest on one chair where there is a very small ‘nibble’.

It is rare to see this iconic set in such stunning original, unrestored condition.
