Rare set of 6 heart chairs (model FH 4103) designed by Danish master Hans Wegner for Fritz Hansen in 1953.

The chairs, featuring teak seats on solid beech frames, are offered in good original condition.

All chairs have age consistent wear with scuffs, marks, some stains and fading to the finish.  However, all chairs are strong and have no deep scrathes.

On the underside of 2 of the chairs there are some areas of veneeer loss to the rear of the seats which was possibly the result of some historic water damage (see photos).  None of this is visible when the chairs are upright.  Some of the glue has also perished on some of the chairs leaving some visible gaps in the joins (again, please see photos).

The remains of the Fritz Hansen ink stamp can be seen on the underside of thee chairs.
