Originally designed in 1964 by Finland’s Yrjö Kukkapuro, the Karuselli chair is one of the most iconic lounge chairs in the world.

Featuring a black fibreglass shell upholstered in black leather on a chrome steel cradle and a reinforced fibreglass base.  The chair swivels and rocks and will probably be the most comfortable chair you ever sit on.

The chair is fine structurally and generally in good condition.  The fibreglass is good with the odd mark around the base.  The leather is generally good, there is some rubbing to the corners and edges and the seat and arms show age consistent wear with some creasing and looseness – see photos.

The chair retains it’s Avarte label to it’s underside.
