Le Corbusier Cassina LC2 armchair x2

SOLD

Rarely available, iconic, instantly recognisable Bauhaus chair.

Originally designed in 1928 by Le Corbusier the LC2 armchair manufactured by Cassina features polished chrome steel frame with loose, feather padded, leather upholstered cushions.

The chair is in very good original condition.  The chrome is very good throughout with only the very odd minor mark.  The black leather is free from rips or tears and shows only age consistent wear.  For complete accuracy there are some very small areas of tarnish to the inside of the frame at the bottom, none of this is visible when the cushions are in place.

The rrp for one of these chairs bought from new is £4158 with a 6-8 week lead time.

Fantastic quality, not to be confused with the many poorly made reproductions for sale, the chair was produced under license from the Foundation Le Corbusier as indicated by the stamps and serial number to the chrome frame.

We currently have 2 available.
