Originally designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1958 for the Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. A moulded shell of synthetic material on an aluminium star swivel base, with a layer of cold foam covering the shell upholstered in a lilac kvadrat wollen fabric. No straight lines only curves, a truly stunning, timeless chair. The chair dates from 2002 and retains it's Fritz Hansen label on it's base. It is in good condition, there are some signs of wear to the fabric around the arms and some slight colour fading. There are also some faint marks on both sides at the edges (see photos) and for complete accuracy there is one small pull to the fabric on the seat (again see phtotos).
