Originally designed in 1958 by Charles and Ray Eames, the aluminium group of chairs are true icons of 20th Century design.
Manufactured by ICF, Italy, this chair features black leather upholstery on a 5 star chromed frame with swivel facility on castors.
The chrome is generally very good except for one area on the left arm where there are some surface scratches (see pictures). The leather is free from rips or tears however it does show age consistent wear including some rubbing to the corners (see pictures). The chair retains it's ICF label.
ICF were one of the 4 original European manufacturers permitted to produce Eames chairs under license given by Herman Miller. ICF ceased production of Eames chairs in 2004.
