Originally designed in 1958 by Charles and Ray Eames, the aluminium group of chairs are true icons of 20th Century design.
Manufactured by ICF, Italy, this chair features black leather upholstery on a 5 star chromed frame with swivel facility on castors.
The chair is in excellent condition showing very little wear, the chrome is excellent. There is a slight indentation line running along the leather towards the front of the seat. This is very minor and was hard to show in a photograph (the indentation can be seen best in photograph 7). The chair retains it's ICF label.
It is worth noting that the seat height on this chair is 46cm which is a bit lower than the regular height on Eames softpads.
ICF were one of the 4 original European manufacturers permitted to produce Eames chairs under license given by Herman Miller. ICF ceased production of Eames chairs in 2004.
