Gordon Russell double helix sideboard

SOLD

Designed in 1951 for the Festival of Britain by David Booth and Judith Ledeboer and manufactured by Gordon Russell.  A superb example of classic British mid century design.

Made from mahogany with birch ply doors venered with Bombay rosewood that have been machine cut to expose the white birch below.

There is a small scratch to the top right of the right hand door and some light scuffing around the feet otherwise the sideboard, including the interior is in very good / excellent condition - probably the best example we have ever come across.
