Originally designed in 1958 by Charles and Ray Eames, the aluminium group of chairs are true icons of 20th Century design.
Manufactured by Vitra, this chair features black leather upholstery with a 5 star chrome frame on castors with swivel, tilt and gas lift.
The chair is in good condition, the chrome and leather are both good with age consistent wear including some light rubbing to the leather on the edges and some light creasing to the seat. There is a very small area on the bottom rail of the right arm that is not perfectly smooth, this is only really noticeable if you run your finger across it and is very miniml indeed.
The gas lift works smoothly and the chair retains it's Vitra labels.
