Rosewood and chrome drinks cabinet designed by Richard Young for British engineering company Merrow Associates c. 1970, one of the rarer Merrow pieces.
The cabinet features double doors enclosing an interior fitted with glass shelves and drawers on a raised chrome frame with smoked glass under-tier.
The cabinet is in excellent original condition, one of the cabinet doors has dropped slightly and the glass pull out shelf is very stiff. Aside from this, the rosewood veneer is superb with great grain and minimal signs of wear. The chrome is also very good, retaining a strong shine.
