Originally designed by Mies van der Rohe in 1930 for his Tugendhat House in Brno, Czech Republic.
These Brno chairs feature a satin, tubular chrome frame upholstered with dark reddish brown leather (the overall colour is more brown than red). These chairs are the version with the thicker more comfy cushions.
The chair is in very good condition showing only minimal signs of wear.
The base of the frame is stamped with the Knoll studio logo and the signature of Mies van der Rohe.
This version of the Brno chair would cost in the region of £1164 if bought from new.
