Vintage Eames DSS (dining height, side chair, stacking base) upholstered fibreglass chairs for Vitra.

Originally designed in 1950 by Charles Eames, the chair is in good condition.

The unusual, soft to touch, upholstery, almost moleskin like in feel shows only light signs of wear (there ae a few slightly darker lines on the seat), the fibreglass shell is generally good with a few scratches to the back.

The glides have been replaced by genuine new Vitra glides

The chair has the narrow mount configuration.
