Trygg Mobler Superstar Star

Rare Superstar star manufactured in limited  numbers between 1973-76 by Trygg Mobler, Denmark.

The chair was made as the Danish rival to the Sigard Ressell Falcon Chair.  Many believe this chair to be better than the original falcon chair, the chromed frame is a thicker gauge steel and un like the Flacon chair the corners have buckled straps that allows for some adjustment for the user.

In 1976, Vatne successfully secured a court ruling that halted production of the rival Superstars. However, the judgment also restricted Vatne from manufacturing a variant of the Falcons incorporating the Superstars' distinctive  buckled adjustment straps. Consequently, production of the Superstars ceased, making them considerably rarer than the Falcons and their enhanced comfort and limited availability has contributed to their desirability.

The chair is in very good condition, the chrome is generally very good with the odd light mark, the leather presents well with signs of  light age consistent and the 4 corner straps have been professionally replaced.
